Paul Oakenfold (Londres, 30 de agosto em 1963) começou a sua carreira como DJ nos finais dos anos 1980 na Inglaterra. Actualmente ele é DJ, remixer, produtor e uma das maiores figuras do trance e house mundiais.
Usando influências do "som de Ibiza", da música eletrônica italiana, do soul e do house, Oakenfold produziu Happy Mondays' Pills 'n' Thrills and Bellyaches, e remixou U2, Massive Attack, Arrested Development, The Cure, Snoop Doggy Dogg, Simply Red, New Order, The Doors, e The Shamen com parceria de Steve Osborne. Alguns destes remixes foram produzidos sob o selo Perfecto Records, que ele criou.

Em 2002, a Q Magazine o considerou um dos 50 artistas que se deve ouvir antes da morte. No mesmo ano produziu seu primeiro pálbum solo, Bunkka, com Nelly Furtado e Tricky ("The Harder They Come"), Ice Cube ("Get Em Up") e Shifty Shellshock, cantor líder do Crazy Town ("Starry Eyed Surprise").
